Everyone's safety and wellbeing has always been our highest priority. During these unprecented times we continue to make adjustments and take all safety measures seriously to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We follow all guidelines and recommendations set by the Department of Children and Families, Hallandale City, and Broward County.
Each room has a limited number of students and teachers and rooms stay separate throughout the day, including playground time. Tables and chairs have been rearranged so that children can maintain distance.
Temperature checks are required for staff and students upon entry and staff wear masks throughout the day. All adults approaching the door must wear a mask.
Water fountains are not in use (students bring their own water bottles) and hand washing occurs upon arrival, before and after snacks, lunch, and after the bathroom and playground. Additional cleaning of materials and surfaces is maintained throughout the day and after school.
Certain programs have been temporarily suspended and will be reintroduced gradually when possible. These include: 5pm extended day program, after school activities, nap time, Friday pizza program, parent volunteering, and birthday celebrations.
We will continue to provide the same love and care for your children as always and do our best to keep them safe and happy while preparing them academically.
